Jani King - Cleaned accounts, owner collected but did not pay us!
We worked for a JaniKing franchise owner and it went well for the first month and a half. We had two accounts to clean for and never had any complaints from the customer nor the owner.
These two accounts had been worked by others who couldn't get it rite. in March, a substancial pay check bounced and we lost our bank account becaused of it. We were prommissed the world and it would all be fixed. We continued to work based on good faith through the end of May.
Several broken promisses and never another dime was payed to us since the bad check. We have tried to work with the the owner to make payment arrangment, but he fails every time. He was paied for the accounts we cleaned for him but he can't seem to get it together to pay us. No more mister nice guy!!
If JaniKing and this poor franchise owner can't pay their employees for good work performed, we will take a much stronger action to get this resolved. Even if we have to swat the hornets nest at thier clients offices. It's not fair that you hire people to work and provide good services for you clients, collect the payments of those services and then NOT pay the employees who did the work. I would love for someone to cantact me to help us get this resolved.
We are talking about a lot of money, bounced checks, and unpaid wages.
Isn't that a crime? I beleave so!

I am thinking/talking to a Jani-King representative here in Chicago about possibly purchasing a franchise her in Chicago, but I need to learn from other Chicagoans about their experiences before I possibly waste my money, please advise and share you experience thanks!
